With 300+ member strong, the APIW New Jersey Chapter is dedicated to the advancement of women in the insurance and risk management industry. Through planned and pop-up networking events, learning and development programming and community outreach, the APIW New Jersey chapter is fostering collaboration and support for women in insurance. Member Spotlight:

Emma of the NJ steering Committee was featured on APIW as a member spotlight for her continued advocacy and success in the Insurance Industry. Emma has recently started a consulting business to help people develop a variety of business skills. Spotlight on Emma Corocran

Pop-up Happy Hour:

A group of industry professionals joined us at 1776 in Morristown for some networking and cocktails – we discussed the industry, recruiting and the benefits of joining APIW!

Centered Connections:

Jen Del Re of Amwins Re hosted us at her yoga studio in South Jersey for an evening of Mediation and Yoga. Many participants have now become members of the studio since the session!

Broken Rung:

APIW and Crum & Forster’s Wave co-hosted an event at the Jets Training facility that featured the McKinsey research for Women in Leadership. Mark Adee of Crum & Forster also hosted a fireside chat at the event sharing his thoughts on the Broken Rung.

Swing into Spring:

The NJ chapter hosted a morning of coffee and indoor golf at Birdies & Lattes in Edison, NJ. Birdies has a bunch of indoor simulators where you can golf courses all over the world or play mini golf. We enjoyed coffee and croissants while networking.
