About the Philadelphia Network

Established in 2017, the APIW Philadelphia Network was founded to meet a growing need in the city of bringing women in insurance together in a meaningful way. Since then, we have built a supportive and inclusive community that encourages connection, collaboration, and growth. Past programming includes professional development panels, soft skill webinars, holiday gatherings, and engaging networking opportunities – all designed to help members feel empowered, connected and inspired within the industry.

Kickoff Summer Networking Event — June 2026

Join us as we launch the summer season of connection, collaboration, and community building. This summer kickoff event will bring together insurance professionals across Philadelphia for light bites and great conversation.

Volunteer Event: Career Wardrobe — September 2026

Give back with purpose. In partnership with Career Wardrobe, we’ll spend the day supporting individuals entering or re‑entering the workforce by helping sort donations, assembling professional outfits, and empowering job seekers with confidence.

Educational Speaker & Networking Event — November 2026

Expand your expertise and your network. This fall program features a guest industry speaker sharing insights, leadership lessons, and trends shaping the future of insurance. The session will be followed by an open networking reception.

Holiday Celebration — January 2027

We’ll kick off the new year with a festive gathering to celebrate our community, reflect on our first year as a network, and set the tone for the year ahead. Expect warm connections, good cheer, and a positive start to 2027.

As we look ahead to these upcoming programs, we remain committed to fostering meaningful connection, professional growth, and community impact within the Philadelphia insurance industry.
